Hello im john. ok i introduced myself...lol. im just wondering if anyone monitors this forum? Im not trying to be rude. i just posted a question in a couple different spots. and havent gotten any response whatsoever. Not an "its commin, not ready yet" not an "its here follow this link" not even a "its none of your business" All i want is mote information about the festival. what movies will be played, when the movies wil be played, any costs to see these movies. basically i just want a schedule. Please let me know.

Hey there John, I am Damon Taylor (Core Committee Member). I would like to apologize for our lack of response on this forum. The festival is a large moving machine and it seems communication outside of the processes of the "darkroom" have been lacking. It IS your business to know more about the festival.

The films are being finalized and put into screenings and slotted for the venues as we speak. It is a tedious process, but a labor of love. The schedule will be posted very soon. Here are a few facts to hold you over....

We have selected more than 75 of the best films submitted from around the world in the categories of Narrative(feature and shorts), Experimental, Documentary, and Animation, as well as, several 35mm non competition films, workshops and juror presentations. We are screening between Feb. 19th through March 1st. at 11 venues hosting more than 50 screenings or presentations.

Our opening showcase will be a compilation of all categories and will open with a live performance by Southern Illinois Dance Company. Their creative take on film as art will be a great kick off for the festival and a second performance with another set of compilation films will be shown later in the schedule.

The official schedule will be posted with in the next day or so.
